Redevelopment of historical glazes

Revival of landmarked buildings. Bringing them back to their full glory.

Studio Christine Jetten is specialized in recreation of ceramic glazes of the early nineteen hundreds. In 1998, Jetten started working for the famous ceramics manufacturer Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles in Delft, Holland, where she succeeded in recovering the recipes of old architectural glazes and, together with former employees, deciphered forgotten glazing codes. She used the results to restore the entrance and inner courtyard to their former glory. She also worked as an advisor in the restauration of the fountain of the Peace Palace in The Hague, the Enschede synagogue and the Seaview Hospital in Staten Island, New York.
