Keeping the history alive
Over the years the building got some additions that now were being removed because of the renovation and redestination. The facade is brought beack to its original state.
Because of the removal of several additions the facade was left with gaps. Glaze bricks needed to be recreated in the same colortones so the renewal wouldn't show.
The original idea was to replace all the damaged bricks. Due to the type of masonry this was almost impossible and too costly. I had to think of a lasting and succesful solution.
